About

PlayableMe

If you've ever spent an hour in a character creator trying to make yourself and ended up with a stranger, that's the problem PlayableMe is for.

I build and run it on my own. For each game I render tens of thousands of faces from its character creator with known settings, and the matcher learns how each setting changes the face. When you upload a photo, it works backwards to the settings that come closest in that game.

What it doesn't match

It matches the shape of your face: the proportions a face-recognition model picks up. It doesn't try to read hair, skin tone, eye color, scars or makeup. You pick those yourself, and each game page lists what's matched and what isn't.

Your photo

Your photo is analyzed in memory and never stored, logged or used for training. Nothing in the code writes it to disk. Details are in the privacy policy.

Cost and new games

PlayableMe is free during launch. Each new game needs its own capture setup for that game's character creator, so new games come slowly. If it saved you an evening, there's a tip jar on Ko-fi.
